PAUL’S TEACHINGS ABOUT WOMEN, Epilogue, Part 2

Outside the spiritual realm, perhaps the one major constant of our modern age is change.  This change awakens new truths in our thought.  We then synthesize them with the proven ones of the past to bring humanity closer to Truth.  With this process, humanity becomes less shackled.

A number of years ago a friend suggested that, in order for humanity to progress, mortals need to die and be replaced by other mortals with fewer prejudices, less ignorance, and fewer limited thoughts.  What he was saying is that inhibition based on preconception is the enemy of humanity’s progress and it often requires many generations to overcome the erroneous influences that are handed down with the good—many generations to replace the old, outdated notions proven false with new ideas more associated with truth and principle.  That is not to say that all old—or even most old—ideas are outdated.  One of the important lessons we learn from history is to reject that which was unprincipled and to duplicate that which has benefited humanity.
