Continuing with further discussion on Daniel 7 from Chapter X (part 4). “ONE LIKE THE SON OF MAN CAME WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN” (Daniel 7:13-14 +) Isaiah introduced the Messiah as a Branch. This old-time prophet brought out the Messiah’s human heritage: “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of
And we continue with further discussion on Daniel 7 from Chapter X (Part 2). “ONE LIKE THE SON OF MAN CAME WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN” (Daniel 7:13-14 +) Two Advents of the BRANCH of David With the misinterpretation of “one like the Son of man [coming] with the clouds of heaven” (Daniel 7:13) as
These blogs began with parts from Dr. Dermott’s manuscript so now will continue along the same lines. We will now look into Chapter X. …four chapters (in the present book) are needed to discuss all that Daniel revealed in his seventh chapter. We will be continuing this discussion in five parts, this being the first.
The process to publish has begun!!! Dr. Dermott’s book, Breakthrough Analysis of Daniel’s Prophecies, the book he has been writing, researching, and editing for the past 50 years, which he completed in the summer of 2021, is going to press!!! Much has now changed. Allan passed on with no forewarning the day after his 56th
Here we are continuing to consider the prophecies in Daniel 7 leading up to the prophecy that points to A.D. 1870. But before doing this we need to examine Daniel’s other date for the divine Stone to fall. The “stone cut out of the mountain without hands” (the impersonal Christ) falls on the feet
Until now Daniel has been preparing the reader for an outpouring of major prophecies. So much is unveiled in Daniel 7 that it will take four of this book’s chapters to cover it all. Today, the world is no longer under the temporal power of any of Daniel’s four world empires. So, when did the
Religious intolerance continues into the Second World Empire. Daniel 6 begins with Daniel as the chief president of the Median king Darius. Two main themes stand out: the absurdity of fixed, irreversible laws based upon the stroke of a king’s signature, and, now in the second world empire, a repeat of that diabolical evil—religious intolerance
In the fifth chapter of Daniel, there is the forced transition from the head of gold to the chest and arms of silver. This chapter is important on several fronts: subtle reminders of the four world empires of human temporal power; the inability of magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers to interpret messages from the eternal
In Daniel 4, all four world empires are continuing to be symbolized by Nebuchadnezzar and the man in the king’s dream is the king himself, whose heart has changed into one of a beast. Four times throughout Chapter 4 we are told that this beastly heart shall wallow in the effects of sinful pride for
Daniel’s Chapter 3 and 4 use Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylonia, as a metaphorical representation of the whole giant image of four world empires in order to unveil the nature and problems associated with the whole world’s temporal-power structure. The focus of his Chapter 3 is the intolerance of temporal power for religious freedom, the idea
Daniel’s Theme Governing All His Prophecies: Chapter 2 of Daniel is very important. Here is found not only the theme of the chapter but also the theme of the whole book: The triumph of Christ over unbridled, human temporal power. All of the stories, all of the prophecies pertaining
So, what is Daniel’s thesis? The main focus of the entire book is visions and prophecies. Included is God’s plan for righteousness or purity (the Old Testament major prophets’ terms for the impersonal Christ) to crush the temporal power of four world empires through what Daniel revealed and Christians now call the First and Second
“How Prophecy Works” is an excerpt from Chapter I of my book Breakthrough Analysis of Daniel’s Prophecies. So how does prophecy work? In Christianity, the sphere is often used to symbolize eternity because there are an infinite number of circles on its surface and because each of these circles has no beginning and no end,
The following is a fourth passage from the Epilogue of my book Championing Womanhood: We had more than fifteen thousand years of rule by women, called matriarchy. As Endo-European, patriarchic culture slowly replaced the old European, feminine culture, a thousand years or so of transition began to strip women of their power and rights. As
The following is a third passage from the Epilogue of my book Championing Womanhood: One of the defects of human nature is to look down on others so that we feel better about ourselves. The treatment of females in Africa, the Mideast, and Asia is obviously deplorable. But do Western men, at least in part,
The following is another passage in the Epilogue of my book Championing Womanhood: To think that the past does not influence the present is to live in the Adamic mist with its confusing consequences. Collect all the ancient superstitions and fears pertaining to blood and the woman’s menstruation, all the Aristotelian notions, prejudices, and arrogance
The following is a passage in the Epilogue of my book Championing Womanhood: Say that two football teams arrive at the Super Bowl rated with an equal chance of winning. Although equal, the two come with different strengths and different weaknesses, with their various ups and downs during the season. Likewise, men and women come
Previously the cover of Breakthrough Analysis of Daniel’s Prophecies was to have been the statue depicting the ‘Four World Empires’. This was changed because the discussion of those prophecies is only focused on through the seventh chapter and there are twenty chapters. The concentration then goes beyond those ‘Four World Empires’ prophecies to focus on
A friend recommended that I rewrite my previous blog on Bible Prophecies and include more detail and documentation. Below you will find a question-and-answer section slightly revised from the end of Chapter XX in Breakthrough Analysis of Daniel’s Prophecies. Much of the documentation includes references to previous chapters because too lengthy to be included here.
I am now reading your book on women’s equality and have been impressed with the ideas in Chapter 2, bringing out God as Mother as well as Father. Two of your examples stood out and are especially meaningful to me: 1. This passage, “As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you,” in
Another major discovery during the studying of the book of Daniel for over 50 years is that it must be analyzed as a whole in order to more clearly see specific parts of God’s plan that Daniel did not directly point out. Here are three examples. First, after determining when the 2520-year span is to
Since March is Women’s History Month, it is important to remember the foundation of women’s equality: our Maker is Mother as well as Father. Also to learn the history of the challenges to women’s equality over the centuries. See my book on women’s equality for examples in the Old Testament (Chapter 2), Jesus’ examples, resistance
I often wonder how many women are aware that in the thirteenth century Thomas Aquinas Christianized Aristotle’s pagan writings, including his diabolical ideas about women. Clergy even wondered whether a woman had a soul. For example, that ancient Greek philosopher claimed that women were inferior to men because women had fewer teeth. A dentist assured
I thought that you might be interested to know what I’ve discovered about Daniel’s prophecies after 50 years of research. So, I will be posting one or two findings in each forthcoming blog. Further details will be available when my book, Breakthrough Analysis of Daniel’s Prophecies, is published in 2022. Two Calculated Spans From the
Your book on Daniel’s prophecies sounds interesting. Your website says that it will be available soon. How soon is soon? That is a good question. To me “soon” is relative because I have been working on this book for over five decades in research and writing and submitting it to readers for comments. I invite
On your website page about your book, Championing Womanhood (now 2nd edition of Fluctuating Equality Imposed on Women), you mention Aristotle and his “diabolical” views of women. What are some of his views that you think are so wrong? From the author: Yes, these horrible views of Aristotle are fully answered on pages 88-106 of
