Bible Prophecies: 2

Another major discovery during the studying of the book of Daniel for over 50 years is that it must be analyzed as a whole in order to more clearly see specific parts of God’s plan that Daniel did not directly point out.  Here are three examples.

First, after determining when the 2520-year span is to start and by laying it out with the other prophecies, I found that the First Coming, Jesus Christ, came in the middle of the first half of the 2520 years.  This point is revealed only after stepping back and examining all of the prophecies analyzed.

Second, six of Daniel’s seven prophecies pertaining to the Second Advent fall within a 30-year period.  Nowhere did Daniel say there was going to be such a 30-year period.  It becomes apparent only when studying all six of those prophecies that I saw afterwards what happened.

Third, only when studying those six prophecies within 30 years did I see that the first two would be performed by the impersonal Christ, the Tsedeq, the Stone cut out of the mountain without hands.  The other four would be fulfilled by an individual with the help of Tsedeq (Hebrew word for ‘Righteousness,’’ meaning the Christ in the Old Testament).  Thus the debate over whether those six Second Advent prophecies are fulfilled either all by the impersonal Christ or all by an individual is decided.  It is not a case of just “an either all this or that” situation:  the first two, dealing with the abomination of desolation, were handled by the impersonal Christ; the other four would be accomplished by the Appointed individual with the impersonal Christ.

Thus, it is essential that one studies all of Daniel’s prophecies as a whole to see how they all interrelate.
