Bible Prophecies: 9

In Daniel 4, all four world empires are continuing to be symbolized by Nebuchadnezzar and the man in the king’s dream is the king himself, whose heart has changed into one of a beast. Four times throughout Chapter 4 we are told that this beastly heart shall wallow in the effects of sinful pride for a period of “seven times,” revealed in Leviticus 26 as a period of punishment. Since the prophecy ends in “the latter days,” at the end of the fourth world empire, a quick estimate would be about 2,000 or 2,500 years. The Hebrew year had 360 days, so 7 x 360 = 2520 days; thus immediately we can see that Daniel is not dealing with literal days but prophetic days where one day equals a year, as explained in the Hebrew code found in Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6. Also, a grace period of 360 years preceding the 2520 years is prophesied.
