DANIEL 12, Part I
*******
In Daniel 10, as Daniel was resting next to the Hiddekel River, symbolic of the Word of God, absolute Purity or the Christ appeared to Daniel, and he was introduced to another angel, Michael (explained in the previous Blog 43).
Daniel 12 presents the last four of Daniel’s prophecies pertaining to the Second Coming of Christ, or Righteousness, Purity, as in Old Testament phraseology. In Chapter XX there is a summary of Daniel’s two prophecies of dates pointing to the First Advent and all seven prophecies concerning the Second Coming.
In Daniel 12:4, Righteousness told Daniel to “seal the book, even to the time of the end” and gave the prophet a sign when the end would be: “many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (verse 3). Purity then stood on the waters of Hiddekel (God’s Word) and unveiled four major prophecies concerning the Second Advent of Righteousness, both its message and messenger.
Chapter XVI discusses the first of these four prophecies.
Chapters XVII, XVIII, and XIX discuss the last three prophecies in Daniel, and Chapter XIX further explores the sealed book of verse 3.
