Could not the Almighty, who changed time by making the sun and moon stand still (Joshua 10:13), interrupt any individual’s timeline at any point, before or after that person’s passing, to exercise His grace as the One too pure “to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity” (Habakkuk 1:13), to show mercy and forgiveness? (See also I John 4:8, 16: “God is Love.”) How can the One too pure to behold evil or look on iniquity leave an individual in hell beyond the length of time needed to secure sincere and complete repentance, which may take a long time for some? Such a concept is inconsistent with a God that is Love itself.
